At last Apple have released "Manually Manage Music" on the iPhone. What is interesting though is that it was iTunes that was stopping and nothing to do with the iPhone firmware.

Incase anyone is wondering the new iTunes 7.6 works with Jailbroken and Unlocked iPhones, with no side affects AND as a bonus gives you "manually manage music"

Tick Tock.....Now just waiting for the Jailbreak and Unlock to work with the new firmware 1.1.3, although to be honest I am not sure if "Jailbreaking" will be nessecary once the SDK is released, but obviously the unlock will be.

UPDATE: Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.....What are we going to do with you. So you give us the option to manually manage our music and then you disappoint us by only allowing us to do it with one iTunes Library.

I thought I would try to see if I plugged my iPhone into my P.C, when I had prevously enabled "Manually Manage Music" on my Mac's itunes library, if it would allow me to manage my music from a different library. Open up iTunes and the option is unticked on the p.c. When you tick the box and click apply it tells you your iPhone is synced with another library and do you want to erase it and sync it with the new library.

So in short you can only use that option if you are on the library which you ticked the box originally, unless of course you hae the same music on two different libraries, but when you are at work that is unlikely!

Oh well back to the drawing board I guess Cry
