Heads up: Apple is going to increase prices on the App Store by about 15.5% "within 72 hours". If you're on the fence about any apps, now might be a good time to buy before the prices go up.

The full price schedule is available here. Also note the new "Alternate Tier A" and "B" at a 99 cent price point; it'll be interesting to see whether any devs start using it.

Wow which apps currently cost $1,499?  Apple make an awfully large cut on apps that price!

I just noticed a "Hand-picked Apps & Games" for .99c on the NZ App store today.

Might be seeing the benefit of that .99c price tier already?

Looks that way. The price rise has gone into effect across the rest of the store though.
