I'm having some weird issues with our iPad 2. Occasionally it would lose volume but then gain it back, now it is the reverse.

It has no volume but occasionally does to only then lose it, i.e. watching Youtube and I get volume for 3 minutes or so then it drops out.

Currently I have it connected to speakers via the headphone port. Even this is not 100% as midway through a video it can cut out and I have to unplug the speakers then plug hem back in to get the volume going again.

I have done all the usual things up to a full reset with no luck.

The volume control has also disappeared from the control panel?

Google has revealed this is a known issue but I can't seem to find a fix that works so hopefully someone has some idea??

Software version is 9.3.2

Another funny thing is that since I done the reset it shows as 'no service' though it is connected to the internet and functions with no (other) issues?

Only wierd sound issues I've ever had with iPads was when one of the kids put the cover on upside down and the edge just caught the volume knob and ramped it up (or down) ?

On our iPad 3, I was in the end unable to use our Bluetooth speaker. It would connect but the sound would have no volume.

I didn't find a solution and the iPad has recently died so I guess I won't. The death (I think) was unrelated.
