I'm sure Daniel's going to be looking at this one...

Well, I'm pretty impressed by the Linka's new iPhone/iPod touch optimised site, and it's a new site, but here are somethings I would like to be added:
  • A "Back" button. Sure it might take up a little more space when viewing items, but I was confused at first on how to return back to the start page.
  • A "View original (site)" button. I sometimes like the original site better at times. I don't want to clear my cookies all the time.
Just some things to consider...

Hey Manhinli,

Glad you like the site and thanks for your comments.

We have added a link at the bottom of the page to take you back to the regular site. This is something that we meant to add but it didn't make it to the initial release.

The reason there is no "Back Button" is that mobile safari has this built in at the bottom of the screen.  We want to keep the site as clean and clear of clutter as possible to make for a better experience. You'll find that  *most* iPhone/ipod sites don't have this for that same reason.

We will however take it on board and if we receive enough requests to add it then we will look into it.

Cheers

Now that you updated it... maybe you'll want to send it into the present? Laughing

And another thing...

When I try to Web Clip the normal linka.co.nz, the cool li icon appears, but in the optimised site, it never comes...?

Using 1.1.4/iPod Touch

Been using it on and off for a while, and I accidentally pressed the login button.

How come that the dialog is screwed up? The whole thing is a mess.

I'm typing this on my iPod, so I can't upload any screenshots, but I think you should be able to see it.

I have adjusted a few things with the login, comment form, search form and Categories form. The log in form now looks like the screenshot below. This is how it should look. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, unfortunately I do not log in and out the often so had forgotten to update it.
