Don't know if you guys have seen this but Google Calendar has been optimized for iPhone along with a whole lot of other recent upgrades. Just using it now and its much better than the incumbent Calendar - only downside is that you have to access it online so it really would be useful to have edge or something equivalent.

Set up Google Calendar via your Google/Gmail account and then point your iSafari here it will optimize for the phone

I believe the markets the iPhone has been deployed/marketed in, do in fact have EDGE?
