I placed my order for the iPhone 7+ 128gb in Jet black at 7:01 and got an email saying Vodafone would e-mail me when the order is processed.

Has anyone got their e-mail yet conforming if they will get their phone on release date?

Not yet. Looking back at my emails from the 6 and 5 preorders, it usually takes a few business days before you get another email regarding the status.

I'm interested to know about their stock levels of the jet black, seems to be big delays around the world. Vodafone nz have posted a 3-4 week delay on the 7 jet black since pre order day.

I keep attempting to press their twitter about when we may get an update, even if it is to find out that I'm last in the queue and will have to wait weeks. But just get responses back like "You'll receive it after after the release on the 16th". When all I want to know for now when will I find out a delivery estimate.

For now i'll just try and be patient for any information...

Mine are non Vodafone, ordered from Apple NZ directly. My 2 iPhone 7 plus' have just been prepared for shipment. A white/silver 32gb and a black (normal black) 128gb.

I was online pretty quick to order but still the piano Black was out to 2-3 weeks.

I rang Vodafone last night. As of that time, they don't know what stock they are being allocated so are not processing any orders until they find out.

After that, I noticed on twitter that Spark are saying the same thing.

Yes, pretty much.

I tried to make this point to the CSR, but at the end of the day there's nothing he can control so I had to let it go.

I wonder if they find out how much stock they have tomorrow. It can't be that far away so that they can start sending some to stores..

It is all a little silly, like most pre-orders/ pre-sales it is a pre-sale of a percentage of what they are getting.

So pre-orders get some allocated.

The stores get some allocated for those that line up

Business sales get some allocated to them.

I strongly doubt Vodafone has absolutely no idea what they are getting, Spark seem to know or at least have given some of their customers an indication that they won't be getting their phone on release day.

Sounds like they just dont want to build any expectations. Some will get on release day.... others down the queue won't, or will be delayed longer because of supply issues. Nothing more annoying than getting an estimated delivery date and then receiving it weeks later. But when you aren't promised anything and then get it on the first day - a nice surprise.

I was refreshing the iPhone 6 preorder page and must have been one of the first to order, and im pretty sure i received it on the morning of the release.

I just rang again. Apparently confirmations are going out today and tomorrow - which you'd hope, given delivery day is supposed to be Friday.

He did mention that if I ordered Jet Black I should expect to get a 'delayed' status.

I asked again this morning on Twitter if we were any closer to finding out any information, but they're either very busy and haven't gotten to me yet or ignoring me

Partner just got a text and email from Vodafone confirming her plan has been renewed, and that they would send another email when they are ready to ship. Haven't got mine yet, i ordered at 7:01 and ordered her one at 7:30...

Tried to call @ 7pm to see if I could find out any information for my order.. However the online team goes home at 6pm.

Got to wait until tomorrow morning to prod someone for information..

But have all the emails already gone out for everyone getting their phones on Friday? I see vodafone have updated their website with information on queue size for each phone..
