Can anyone tell me how the Telcos (Spark/Vodafone) pre orders with Apples iPhones work. I would expect they would know before pre orders open up on how many units they will have on stock and from that update there site to allow people to pre-order to that max number, I.E. Spark are getting so many iPhone 7 / Plus 7... Anyone have insite on this is true or not?

Given that they are dealing with Apple, one of the more secretive companies to deal with,

I would not assume anything about knowing stock levels until they open the boxes when Apple allow them to open them....

Even if/when they (telcos) know the stock numbers, they obviously wouldn't disclose or stop people from pre-order more handsets as that defeats the purpose of locking people in ;)

Do they not find out how many they have until Friday or something?

Spark only had a certain amount up for pre-order. Which suggests they know how many they have to allocate..

This would be how i would think of it, or does spark decide how many to accept and then wait to see what they will get.
