Just go look in telco stores ( I saw one at a 2degrees kiosk) or the likes of Harvey Norman

Not particularly helpful from a 'Trusted' member?

Vodafone in St Lukes have a Black 7 and even one of the elusive Jet Black 7+'s.

At least they did last Friday…

I saw my first iPhone 7 at the Warehouse Stationary, Fraser Cove, Tauranga two days post release so I am presuming they are in all their stores.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Is there any shop you can just walk in a buy a iPhone 7 outright?

Don't know about NZ but I was in Sydney last week and the Apple Store certainly had them out on display - there was nothing saying they were not available for purchase, so I assume they were.

I doubt it as pre-orders haven't even been supplied for a lot of models.

I walked into a 2degrees store in Johnsonville, Wellington two days ago and bought one. Was a bit surprised after reading about waiting lists etc here.

Guess I just have to try my luck, not that keen to wait over a month for one

The 2degrees kiosk I went to had the 7+, and not the 7
