Hi anybody know how to archive text messages in a format you can read later? As in not having to restore a whole backup? Fighting for space on my phone, but really need to keep everything. Thanks!

I used to use "Backup to Gmail", but it looks like that app hasn't been updated for a year or so. There is also "SMS Backup+". They back up SMS messages to a folder in your gmail account.

I don't use SMS much anymore.....everyone has gone to Viber, FB Messenger or Google Hangouts. They all support richer multimedia content than SMS/MMS.
