Hi Everyone,

So I use Gmail, but using it with the default apple mail app doesn't have push notifications which is annoying.
I've tried using the Gmail app, it works well but there's a downside.

When you add a signature to your email, it automatically adds a '--' as well as puts it to the bottom of the email, like right down at the end instead of below the email you just wrote.

This is annoying, as I have my signature set up a specific way to stop this, and this isn't an issue on Android.

I've tried other email applications, such as Outlook, but they don't sort the emails like the Gmail app does (Primary, Social and Promotions).  This is an issue as I don't want all the ads to be in my inbox and getting push notifications for them.

Does anyone use a Gmail app which is (free/paid)

- Good for sorting the mail into the folders, primary, social and promotions

- Has a signature setup which actually works properly.

Thanks so much!

Funny, I don't have any of the issues with the standard mail app that you have, including notifications

Sorry, I use the Apple mail app and it polls every 15 mins and I get notified when something is downloaded.

Nah I get ya haha.  They also don't seem to sort into the folders, like primary, social, promotions?  Or am I just wrong there?

I don't have any of the problems you've mentioned with the Gmail app on my Android, so maybe its just an Apple thing.

I do use another mail app called MailWise which doesn't have any issues either. BTW MailWise app can access a range of email accounts and it has a number of benefits only 'ordinary' email apps with being able to access Exchange emails without need to install the crazy Exchange security settings.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

It's a shame it's not available for iOS :(

There are many good apps available, but most of them don't sort the emails into the 'tabs' like Gmail does.

Do you know how to set up the tabs?  e.g 'Promotions' 'Primary' 'Social' etc?

Thanks
