Hello - I am living in NZ (many many years ) - but i want to download an app to use with history.com.

Ive found out that my IPAD (latest ios), cannot locate/find the "history vault". Im not sure what i did, but i managed to locate it on the ipad US store.

i can/could (if i remember what i did) switch to the US store, and find the app. However, in order to get the app, i need to switch back to the NZ store to get it.. but of course, i cant get it in NZ.

Is there a way that i can permanently switch to US store - without deleting / erasing my existing apps / changing the IPAD. Will it affect anything ?

If i do switch to USA, & manage to download / get the "history vault", can i switch back to NZ store & still keep the new app ?

- can someone provide instructions on switching stores. thank you....

EDIT: Of course - can this be done legally :)

Yes you can switch between stores to download apps. I have US and NZ accounts and regularly switch between the two.

You have to be in the respective country's store to be able to update the apps specific to that country, but otherwise switching stores doesn't affect the functionality of the app.

To switch, open the App Store app, scroll down to the bottom, clock on the 'Apple ID' box which will have your user name (Apple ID), sign out of it, then sign back in with the other country's Apple ID.
