I have had issues with Wifi and GPS since I updated my Iphone 6 to 10.2.1.

So if anyone has updated their iPhone to iOS 10.3, how did you go with the update? Do you notice any difference in Battery life, Wifi and GPS performance?

I managed to get wifi working after a lot of reset's and trying various things, so I am bit reluctant to try iOS 10.3 just yet.

If anyone has managed to successfully update without any issues, then I might give it a try.

Thank you :)

Wi-Fi seems the same, and I haven't tried GPS yet. I can't comment on battery life as installing an update always sucks up the battery. Will need to see how it goes tomorrow.

Edit: Battery life appears to be about the same.

I've been running the developer beta since it came out and can't say I've had any issues, this was probably one of the most stable Beta's they ever released!

Well 10.3 was only released today so how would anyone know if battery life is affected?

I've had it on my iPhone 7 Plus for a couple of hours and so far working well.

Mine failed to install initially with an error that it had encounter an installation error and to try again. I cleared some space to see if it made any difference, and that did allow it to install. This was weird, because previously when it needed space, it would auto delete apps to do this. I am guessing it didn't do this this time, as the update changes the file system. After the update I do have slightly more diskspace which is good, although don't know if that is just because the cached files go cleared out. Seems work okay afterwards, you don't normally find out about problems until  several days later. But with the high number of betas this has had, there shouldn't be many.

I've been running the beta since it was seeded, and I've not had any problems.  I think there were about 6 or 7 betas for this, and so I would hope that most of the bugs have been ironed out.  But I've not experienced any problem (iPhone 7).

I lost my Text Replacements... sort of. They were still listed in Settings but didn't work until I edited/saved one. That made them all work again. This happened with a previous update too.

Finally updated it this morning. Battery life seems to be fine for now, will try GPS on my way home and Wifi once I get home. But everything else seems to be working fine.

Before and after. This is on a 5s. Speed for me is no difference. Just noticed that the capacity is more

Updated this afternooon on 6+ and all seems well. Seems to have freed up several GB.
Failed to install on first attempt, succeeded on second. I had deleted couple of extra GB of junk.

Cheers

Yep, My 6S updated fine and has been working as normal today (other than the constant prompting to turn on 2FA)

On a slightly weird aside I've used several Apple ID's (NZ/USA/UK) as some of the apps i wanted when travelling were only available in that countries App store and it did bug me (after a soft reboot several hours after updating) about 30 times (!) for me to 'transfer' my apple ID to be able to restore prior downloads as "your apple ID is associated with a different account" (along with the 90 day warning about changing over again). I wonder if it was once per app or somesuch, but this has never happened before either...

updated 2 x iPhone 6 and 1 x Apple Watch 1st gen.

All updates worked first time round.

Hats off to Apple's iOS team for accomplishing introducing a new file system so smoothly.
