Today I attempted to use teamviewer over a spark 4g connection hotspoted from an iPhone to surface pro, team viewer would not generate credentials to give to other person to remote in, switching to wifi and teamviewer propagated the required user id and password. Why would this not generate when connected to 4G?

Double NAT and firewall rules blocking uninitiated inbound traffic (which is the standard setup for most mobile networks) is potentially a start.

Did think it may be something like that, but the IT outfit I was dealing with didn't think it would be a problem.
