I'm still convinced that Apple won't go down the horrendous "Touch ID on rear" path. I think it's more likely that they'll increase the price significantly and just deal with the low production yields of embedded Touch ID underneath the display. AirPods still have a six-week delivery timeframe and I imagine the same will apply to the iPhone 8 for the first 3-4 months (with an iPhone 7S offered for those who can't wait or won't pay the premium, with upgraded camera & internals).

Those are just my guesses anyway.

I'm not "all over the Apple forums", so I'd rather discuss here.

YOu have to remember that they do make lots of different prototypes. The new one is supposed to have glass on the front and back, with a chrome surround, so this could adjust be one of the early prototypes, or a clone. There should be no need for the antenna bands on the new on so this is almost definitely a fake or a prototype.

Thanks for that, it looks like the leaks are coming quite quickly now as we approach release. It will be interesting to see what refinements Apple will bring to 7 & 7s variants - I would expect bezel reduction at the least.

Isn't this the 10 year anniversary? My apple fanboys on an iPad thread I am on see this as the must have. I see a reduced bezel, Home button on the side. Camera incrementals. New fancy anniversary colours, thats about it. But Id quite like whoever makes some apps, including Apple to get with the play on landscape capability. 

I think the big thing with the anniversary iPhone 8 edition will be edge to edge OLED glass on the front and corning gorilla glass back.

I do hope they DO NOT put the home/ID touch button on the back though.

Not that I will be buying as we just bought the iPhone 7 Nov16 and that has to last for at least 5 years. Our old iPhone4 did.
