I just need something I can google, youtube, prime and netflix in bed or on the couch with headphones.

Do you find your phone sometimes just a bit small but your notebook just a bit big?

I feel I have stumbled on the Tablet use case lol.

Anyway I want to spend MINIMAL, $400ish, Ive seen used Ipad 5s for $350-400 on trademe, and Lenovos go for that new.

Pluses and minuses to each. But the lenovo doesnt have anti glare and neither does the iPad so why do people make such a big deal out of it. Both have more nits than my phone for semi bright conditions.

I nearly talked myself into needing a 10.5 Pro, do I need one lol?

I then thought well the 9.7 pro is a hybrid of the Ipad 5 and 10.5, with the A9x being better GPU than the A9, but clearly the a10x is better.

im SOOOOO Confused, HELP I have analysis paralysis !

Think you've made your own successful argument.

My daughter saved her money and got a normal 9.7 2017 ipad. Its light, fast and works really well. I think they are about $400 on special now?

The 10.5 is naturally bigger screen, lots more technology for supporting the pencil and touch id etc. costs a shedload more too.

So really down t you - but if it's going to be your main widget consider the use longterm of screen size and glare on your eyes... you will end up doing more than you say you will, that's just reality.

The 10.5 looks so awesome but I dont think it can replace a notebook. Ive looked at LR on it and is very limited.

Even Affinity is pretty limited.

And the main PITA is importing files, it just chucks them all in, you cant manage it like a workflow. Android is better in this regard. Windows clearly is the best.

So perhaps Im better off with a Surface Pro to solve all my probs in one product.

But that 120hz variable refresh sandwiched anti glare screen is beyond cool, 640 nit and p3 gamut, oh no, did it again, confused.
