Hi All,

Hopefully this is the correct forum.

I have an Onkyo amp  TX-NR626 and one of the tings that bugs me the most is there is no bluetooth button on the remote and you either have to get on your hands and knees or use the iPhone app (Onkyo remote 3 ).

SWMBO just got an iPad for her birthday and we wanted to put the app on the iPad so we can stream music.

This app does not appear to be available for the iPad.

I have tried another app but there was no bluetooth button on that so tried The Onkyo and Integra controller but they could not see the amp even if I put in the IP address in the app directly so this app is probably not designed for this series of devices.

Does anyone know of any other apps to control HT equipment that is free or cheap that could control the amp from the iPad.

Thanks in advance.

John

You can download the Onkyo Remote 3 app to the iPad using Airdrop.
Go to the Onkyo Remote 3 app in the App Store with your iPhone then tap on the three dot button on the right, select share app, then tap to share with AirDrop. The App Store will then open on the iPad with the Onkyo Remote 3 app to download.

Thank you.

I am still learning the Apple way.

Works a treat.
