Running iOS 12 on my iPad Pro 9.7" and iPhone X.  Seems to be smooth so far!

I know someone who has installed it on an old iPad Air 2 and the performance has smoothed out a lot.

I was watching a review on YouTube.

Said the focus of this one was was speeding everything up, even for the older models.

I have been running it on an ipod touch from beta 1, and no problems at all. Some people have had problems with apps not working, but I never had that. I wanted to try out the new measure app, but that isn't  on the ipod, and guessing not on the ipad either. I would have liked to see them all the models it supports operate like the iphone x, without the need to use the homebutton. They have done it on the ipad, but not on other iphone models.

Been using Mojave as my main os since a week ago. Wasn't a developer, just found an easy workaround. All I can say is that there are weird instances here and there, slow at times and few app crashes. Mail is unusable for me now, crashes when adding accounts and during syncing. Apart from that it is all good.

Both iOS betas, and Mojave beta, all installed and running smoothly so far. Haven’t run into any app compatibility issues on macOS. My tweaks seem to still be working (e.g. BetterTouchTool and Bartender). Dark Mode is rad but not really a daytime thing, I’ll play around with it tonight and I’m sure i’ll feel better about it. No issues with iOS at all, iPad Pro and iPhone X both rock solid.

Would be good for dark mode to be in ios12, but maybe they are waiting for the new iphone models to announce and add that in. It looks like they are working on it with the accessibility invert feature, as that isn't far off being dark mode now with the changes they have made. I think with ios12, they want to get the new flatter ios7-12 interface perfect and less laggy, before they move on to more major changes interface changes and icons in ios13. So maybe it will be ios13 where darkmode will be introduced. Although I do wonder if they will change the name for ios 13 to something different, due to 13 being an unlucky number, and the numbering is getting old.
