Can not click on PDF in Email and have it displayed.

It use to work, and I haven’t deleted any applications s.

Wondering if latest gmail update has broken it.

If I wait for it to time out on loading the PDF, which takes up to 1 minute I can then click on the square with up arrow thing at top and copy it to another application like books and then read it from there, but it won’t allow it to be pressed until time out which means I have to wait.

Maybe there’s another application that I need to install like adobe reader, but I haven’t changed anything and it worked in past just by touching the PDF in mail.

Edit: installing adobe reader made no difference.

Gmail is having a VERY hard time at the moment, if its just started happening I would wait till they have things sorted their end.

I think Google servers are having mail issues lots of errors sending and receiving as well as attaching anything.

Yeah not just Gmail, noticed 400/500-type errors across the Google Suite.

Was telling someone just the other day about how when Gmail was new I used to backup everything over IMAP (+ full Google Drive sync), but now I pretty much just trust it 100% - maybe time to reconsider...

Ditto here,

Unable to download an attachment in ios mail client....

logged into gmail website and hit the same problem,

so its definitely a Gmail server issue rather than client related...

oh well, I'll look at it later....
