I have discovered that it is possible to transfer everything from iOS to Android, without too much hassle.

Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer from Android to iOS if for some reason you want to do that?

I'm thinking of

- text messages

- Whatsapp messages

- Whatsapp data

- call history

I haven't tried it myself, but the Move to iOS app claims to do at least some of that.

I remember that all my text, phone history and photos got moved from my android to IOS, there was an app I installed and the iphone talk to it and it syncs data across, did not have WhatsApp at the time so no idea on that.

I know from experience WhatsApp data can't be transferred from Android to iOS or vice versa. This is because on iOS the app backs up the data to iCloud and on Android it backs up the data to Google Drive.
