I have a late model iPad with current iOS. Safari is working fine, i.e. as normal, except that when I try to reach the MyLotto site, I get a message saying “Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found”. This has been going on all day.

This happens regardless of how I try to reach the site. I have tried all remedies known to me - rebooting iPad, de/repowering our router, deleting browsing history etc etc - all to no avail.

Other websites are working fine. I can access the site from my laptop so I know there is nothing wrong with the site itself.

I’m flummoxed and would be grateful for advice.

Why not use the app?

You could also try another browser like Chrome.

I need the site to get full images of tickets for a syndicate I run. App doesn’t show full tickets for a screenshot.

I don’t want to try another browser just for this - Safari has been working fine for years. There must be a fix.

Ahhh - thanks. It was the DNS4ME settings screwing things up. They’ve been fine to date so don’t know why it’s suddenly started playing up. Setting DNS to ‘automatic’ fixed it.

Will have to think further about all this because now DNS4ME might be a pain.

It works fine for me on Safari on my iPad Pro on iOS 12.2, have accessed the site twice tonight. Sounds like it could be a DNS issue then?

Edit: sorry was typing my response after you’d already posted you got it sorted...
