Hi .
What are the best options for running a Facetime compatible app on non IOS devices , Android & Windows
3rd party software that works/connects with Facetime

Basically Ive been asked to sort an option for video chat , to vid chat with customers(clients) : possibly just once or twice for various customers(clients)
Skype has been ruled out for some reason .
Android & PC would have to have an app installed , no matter what .

but all Iphones allready have Facetime so at least they wouldnt need a 3rd party app installed & then configured , if I can get a compatible app for Androids & Windows

Ive looked at Zoom as another option, but that would need to be installed & then configured on each ph/laptop for possibly just a one off vid chat .

Any suggestions ?
or is there a better way . ?

Facetime is an apple service..

You only get to play with it if you are inside the walled garden, this means IOS or MacOS exclusively.... no buts no maybes

Facebook have messenger which should work. But then they would also need to be facebook user . A cheap ios device second hand should be able to  run facetime. Otherwise skype, but that doesnt seem as popular these das compared to facetime and messenger. There aren't really that many options for a reliable service

Google Duo has an iOS app. But that means the client has to install it.
If it's for work get them spring for a MacBook for you! FaceTime problem solved.

Having recently moved away from Apple while the rest of my family remain, Skype works perfectly and actually better than FaceTime IMO.
