Does anyone know where stocks are available, or if they are yet? Christchurch area. Many thanks.

Speaking with a few of the telcos and retailers over the weekend, it sounds like they need to place orders directly with Apple for the Max. They were hearing lead times anywhere from 3-6+ weeks. The ones I spoke to also didn't receive any release day stock.

I was a little slow pre-ordering direct from Apple. My order was confirmed at 1215am and currently has a delivery date between 1-9 Oct.

I've been trying to hunt one down. I can't find one anywhere either.

Apple's website says "Ships in 2-3 weeks" at this point.

Looks like PB Tech appears to have SOME Pro Max in stock.

This stuff article covers the delays experienced by 2 Degrees and Vodafone customers. Apparently, Spark customers were not affected.

The article quotes a spokeswoman for 2 Degrees …

“The 2 Degrees spokeswoman said the company had apologised to customers.

"We've also given them a credit of one month of their phone repayment. Most customers, while understandably disappointed in the delay, seemed comfortable with this approach."

I just called up 2 Degrees to check on how and when this credit will be applied. Although the call centre agent was not able to see this information on his internal systems, they did see the stuff article. On that basis they offered a credit for the monthly plan costs, so that worked out well for me.

I just received my Max 256gb in Midnight Green today, after ordering from Apple directly at 12:15am on pre-order night. As above, it had an expected delivery between 1-9 Oct when ordered.

I just received advice that it will ship shortly, arriving 9th. Original ETA was 14-21. Do you love the green? That’s what I went for too. Hope it’s nice, it’ll be be a long time til the next upgrade!

It's definitely not as green as the images show. Was a little disappointed tbh. In direct light straight on it looks green but at many angles, it has a grey tone to it.

The colour sort of reminds me of those old cheap black felt tip markers at school, which they couldn't quite get the black colour correct, and it had a green grey tinge to it. So it isn't a colour I like at all.
