If you want something good i'd wait for the new in ear headphones apple announced. They have the mic and skip feature and will have much beter sound than the stock iphone headphones.

I have the Sennheiser MM 50 iP in-earphones and they're great! I totally recommend them.

I read on Macrumors that the new earphones for the iPod touch, iPod nano, etc. with the skip, and volume control features do not work fully with the iPhone - the volume control does not work apparently.

Note that the Sennheiser one does not have volume control, only a mic, and a button for call answering, and for track skipping. Pressing the button thrice goes back to the previous track, and pressing twice brings you to the next track.

I'd be very interested in anyone else's experiences with the right channel dying in their 3g iphone headphones. This started happening to me a couple of days ago but it has temporarily resolved itself, so it feels difficult to go back to the retailer and ask for replacements. I'd like to get to the bottom of it though as I really don't think it's cool if this is a widespread problem.

Thinkdigital.co.nz has some fantastic prices on Senhiser headphones.

Although I'm unsure if they are legit.

A friend ordered some from there, he got them but I'm not sure if they are rip offs or not.

I had some orsum AKG ear buds. I lost them just recently. I bought them from ebay for about 50nz and they retail here for about 180. I've compared them to similar priced shure's and they were alot better. But

Man I cant find the model number.

But yes now I'm also looking for some headphones... I think I'll go with either the new shure's with the iphone control or the syhn's mentioned above.

They are more expensive than they are on the AppleStorehttp://store.apple.com/nz/product/TR530ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1MA&mco=MTcwODMzNQ

I wasn't referring to that model.
But the CX300 etc are $20-$30.00 cheaper on think Digital but they could well be fake - I don;t know and can't vouch for them 100%

The posts two above yours made reference to that model (Sennheiser MM 50 iP in-earphones).. and since was only sennheiser reference could not guess you were referring to another model
