Just a simple quick question.. will a jailbreak with winpwn (2.1) kill the unlock on the iphone 3g? I'm just making sure as I will be going overseas soon, and I'm not aware of how they actually 'unlock' the phone...

Currently, it is not possible to "unlock" a 3G iPhone, jailbreak only.

If your phone is locked, it will remain locked post jailbreak.

If you have a 2G iPhone, it will be jailbroken and unlocked by quickpwn/winpwn/etc.

my phone is unlocked, i dont want it to get locked after jailbreak

The jailbreak has no effect on the status of the unlock.
