I have an Iphone 11 pro running Ios 13.4 after years of Android since HTC Touch HD.  On my Nokia 8.1 with emergency alerts I can go to notifications presidentials alerts and read past alerts. Just did  it so could read tonights.   The Iphone I never had glasses on when it came so couldnt read it.  I cant find it anywhere on the Iphone. Do they not keep them on Iphone like the Nokia running Android 10 does so you can re read it later

They stay in notifications (pull down from top left corner) unless you clear them. I dont believe they get stored permanently (unless they do somewhere?)

Mine stayed in place in the notifications screen (but you can clear it) is it possible you inadvertently cleared it?

Pretty sure I didn't clear it, and the message is nowhere. My phone just buzzed - no alarm sound.

None of our three phones are new enough to receive alerts.

We don't throw stuff away unless it fails, ie not interested in keeping up with the Joneses! Maybe we need to replace at least one of them to get these alerts, but we keep up to date with Stuff/Herald online, and News Talk ZB.
