I can’t find anything about this.

The new file format, being software, ought to work on any recent iPhone. Certainly the 11 series at the very least.

I cannot figure out whether it will be part of software updates for earlier phones though. Has anyone spotted information on that which I missed?

Says its only coming to 12pro and and 12pro max. I am assuming thats the reason these phones are packing extra RAM.

However the file format could be edited on a Mac desktop or laptop as well, so you’d think that even if a phone model couldn’t edit it, it could shoot it.
