Hi all

I’m running an Apple TV 4K. I was under the impression that Siri didn’t work on Apple TV in NZ. I was just playing around tonight and it seems to work. All my settings are NZ settings.

Have I just missed out on it for the last few years or has it just recently been rolled on quietly in NZ?

Anyway, if anyone was unaware, it seems to be working now.

Last I used it was just for dictation on search box's, ie searching for a movie on itunes, apple TV.

Does it answer back now? I look next time have it on.

Guess, it’s not the full blown Siri and I may have overspoken. I didn’t even realise you could use dictation.

Yep, It's quite handy, have used it for YouTube searches as well. Can probably use on other applications like Netflix.

Don't think it's a big deal not doing full Siri, as get Siri on other Apple products.

Dictation only - no Siri.

You can search for things like if you're in iTunes you can serach for artists and you'll get suggestions, but yeah...Siri is not available for us and doesn't seem to be on the horizon.
