I know virtually nothing about IOS so apologise in advance! I am asking on behalf of my elderly sister who has an ipad.

 

She says her anti virus won't renew because it doesn't like Chrome. I am asking her for the AV name but, in the meantime, does she even need an AV program on an ipad?

Ive never had AV on any apple device in the last 10 years. I wouldn't bother

Thanks, folks. I am embarrassed to say she didn't give me enough info and I assumed she was talking about her ipad. In fact, I find out she was talking about her husband's win 10 laptop. 

 

I think he was using Internet Explorer so no bloody wonder eset nod32 complained!! 

 

I am red-faced so don't be too hard on me.

 

Note to self - wait till get more details before making assumptions and embarrassing oneself. 😡

i think the answer is still the same. uninstall the AV and the windows AV will (Should) take over.
