Hi i have a bit of jail broken software on my 3g using 2.1 was just wondering if its work rejail breaking ect is 2.2 much better?
Plus the future unlock the dev team talks about does that really mater in NZ? will it stop us beable to go to telecom if the chance arrises?

I chickened out of QukPwn and went the full monty using Pwnge tool - upgraded v1 iphone running 1.1.4 to 2.2

All went great and relatively painless - the only app I really really miss is iDimLight.  Just the best battery saver ever.

recommend method to upgrade 2g to 2.2? I want simcity!




Toys:  iphone 4s; PS3 good times.  13inch macbook pro.   ipad 3. Ã¯Â£Â¿ 27inch imac.   airport express & time machine. raspberry-pi running xbmc and a gopro try hard.

I'll answer my own question :)

Update iphone in itunes to 2.2 then run quckpwn and all should be sweet.

Update rather than restore so I didnt have to re-insall everything.
