Ok, so my son is 17 and I want to give him unrestricted access to You Tube without opening up the can of worms that is adult websites since he's not legally old enough to access those.  I've checked and in You Tube itself restricted mode is off, but it's on in the Content and Privacy Restrictions of the ipad settings.  I have put You tube in as an "allowed" website but he still can't access some of the videos he wants to see which are mostly recorded video games.  No way am I allowing adult content overall, but I can't find a way to pick and choose without manually going in and disallowing all the adult sites, which I suspect might be an impossible task anyway.  Anyone know how to get around this issue?

In the case of YouTube the issue is likely that they have a very basic classification system, restricted mode is basically a white list of a small number of things that have been found to be suitable to let a 3yo watch and anything else will be blocked.
