Hello, I can't find a way for the camera ratio, when taking a picture to stick at 16:9? It always defaults to 4:3 when accessing the camera app.

I have set the 'preserve settings' but if swipe up to 'exit' out of the camera app having taken a photo at 16:9 and then return, the ratio is back to 4:3

any pointers?

This is weird. I have a 13 also, running 15.3.1. I don’t have preserve settings set, other than for Live Photos. But my camera app does remember if I change the aspect ratio. Leave the app to Home Screen or fully quit the app and relaunch, the aspect ratio is the same as before. Odd.

Cheers,
Joseph

Weird, my XR stays the same as what I last used even when closing the app. I have preserve settings "off" as well

Chatted to Apple Online support.

I opened camera app and selected the 16:9 resolution, took a photo! Then went into Settings --> Camera --> Preserve settings and enabled Creative Controls; 16:9 ratio sticks!
