Wife is now in China, her iPhone shows NZ time. IIRC the MIL who has been back there for a couple of months, her iPad also shows NZ time

Messaged the wife this morning to check she turned off Aeroplane Mode. Before I send her a link to check time zone and Location Services time zone settings (which "should" be at default), thought I'd ask here

Cheers

Thanks, I think, China sim cards, but as the wife only got there a couple of days ago, and has 3 days at home isolation, maybe/probably NZ

Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically = ON

Or set the time zone manually at the same location.

Anything stopping her phone getting a GPS signal?

Oh dear, garage in and garbage out?

The wife phone and iPad are fine, its the MIL's iPad, she fiddles a bit probably too, press stuff till something happens.

So...  its a non sim iPad, on wifi. I pasted the settings above that ANglEAUT sent. Is a region change also required? Wifes iPad isnt sim based but that one is ok, so must be someone fiddling with it when the MIL arrived there is September

Sorted

Location Services was off. The auto region time setting was set to On (Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically = ON)  but the location was spinning, sorted by getting them to turn Location Services on.
