So, got the new watch (love it for the most part). But, am noticing some weird sleep tracking issues, i.e., 5 out of 7 nights it'll track fine, then randomly there will be a night where it doesn't track my sleep at all. Then last night it claims I slept 9 hours 21 minutes. I went to bed at midnight and got up at 7:08, I wasn't even in bed 9 hours let alone slept for that amount.

Doesn't seem normal at all.

Mine's been tracking my sleep flawlessly since I got it a month or so ago.

Not related as such much but the only time my Garmin misses data is if I've been fiddling with the strap tightness which as I charge it once a fortnight is usually that day as I might tighten it up as much.

That said I take the sleep data with a healthy pinch of salt, if I lie in bed reading a book it thinks I'm asleep. But the Apple version could be more sensitive.

The AWU is hit and miss - it tracks lack of movement and lower heartrate as sleep.

I average 7h45m per night, but often have a lot more or less sleep than that. It doesn't seem to be as good as my old Fitbit was data-wise.

But I only have sleep tracking on out of curiosity.

I just have a series 6 but I am actually really surprised at how accurate it seems to be.

My Garmin Fenix 5 Plus used to overstate my sleep quite significantly, but Garmin devices may have improved since they acquired Firstbeat.
