Is anyone else able to do this succesfully? Trying to do this from iOS Settings->[Airpods], and the setting turns off, but is back on again by itself within an hour or so.

This used to work OK, but no longer. Have tried deleting/unpairing/repairing/renaming etc without success. Firmware seems up to date, devices charged OK, iOS 16.5.
