Just installed the pump theme for the winter board app from cydia and it looks pretty nice. Although I can imagine some people have spent a fair amount of time getting there springboard just how they like it.

Please post a screendump of your spring board and how you made it. interested in seeing something rather unique.

So this is my current homescreen - I've tried quite a few diff themes but keep coming back to using one of my photos as a background. Also got the 5 icon dock which I find handy....and of course a 'vanity plate' instead of VodaNZ.

This is my current homecreen. I am just using a background image from one of the collections in Cydia and I have 'Reflective Dock' switched on in Winterboard.

Like 'clicknz' I am also using 'MakeItMine' (Cydia) to change the carrier icon.

I haven't changed my app icons as I find it looks odd when you have one that doesn't have a custom icon made to match your theme.

You will also see an envelope in the status bar. This is 'Reminder' (Cydia) which places an icon in the status bar and allows me to see if I have any unread emails/texts/missed calls from the lock screen without having to unlock the iPhone.

Have you found that having your iphone jailbroken has caused your phone to slow down?

yeah there is a performance cost but I'm happy about that. I enjoy all the extra features I get like MMS, copy and paste etc so In my view it out weighs a slight performance loss.

I agree with djpaubes, it's not a huge difference and the extra features out weigh the performance. I also have Backgrounder installed which lets you run apps in the background i.e IM, this is one of the best reasons to jailbreak, Although with 3.0 coming soon we'll be back to square one :(

I'm using the 5 column springboard 5 icon dock, with the MobileMe UI theme and the Pump + Pump 3rd Party icon set for Winterboard. Oh and the Calender LockScreen addin

I've been using the 5 icon dock for ages, but only discovered the 5 column springboard last week. I love it, it's much easier for me to have 4 pages with 25 apps on it. I initially had regular sized icons on the screen and it was too crowded. Found Pump and was over the moon that my icons had been reduced in size to make things less crowded.

I'm also using the winterboard addin to take away icon names. i know what all the apps are by icon so i don't need ugly words covering my screen. especially since adding an extra column was making the words of each app combine into one long scrawl.
