Hi, my wife’s iPhone 15 has a weird issue.  While on a strong 5G signal with 2 Degrees in central Wellington, she found that attempting to entering a search in Safari only gets a “ can’t find the server” message.  Note the original search term appears in the search bar below but clearly does not resolve.

Is that searching directly from the address bar?

what happens if you goto google.co.nz?

pre pay or post pay?

I assume you have tried closing all open background apps, then rebooting the phone.

No need.  Once back home and on wifi it all went back to normal.  Wife claims its happened before so I will need to keep an eye on it and investigate more closely if it recurs.

Maybe something to do with icloud private relay? Try turning that off and see what happens.

Being back to normal on wifi doesn't mean the issue is resolved on 5g. Best to continue testing so she doesn't get caught short in town again.
