I am a vodafone customer (account).

can my Iphone roam on the new telecom network??

what will this cost me?

how can I stop it from costing me?

is it true that the new telecome network will work with Iphone but the new vodafone network will not??

No you can't roam. There are no roaming agreements between Vodafone and Telecom.

And yes the iPhone will work on Telecom's 850 network whereas it won't work on Vodafone's 900 network.

There have been a few rumors new model iPhone which is presumably going to appear around June will have two models available, one that does 850+1900+2100 and another that does 900+1900+2100.

Or you can jailbrake your 3g iphone and switch over to the new TC network but of course that would mean braking your VF contract or terms.

the iphone 3G from NZ is not locked, it doesnt need to be jailbroken to switch to TC
