Hi guys,

I have an iPhone on the XT network with OS3.0

When i get a text from a vodafone number it comes up as

021-xxx-xxx

But a text from telecom comes up as

+6427-xxx-xxx

Any ideas why its doing this? As its a pain in the but, When adding new contacts to have to remember the +64

Thanks,

Daniel

The only idea I have, is that you may want a resolution to something? :D

Is it a problem that it is in +642 format? Or are you just curious?

Both would be good, Because you have to make sure you add the +64 bit when adding a new contact and it can be annoying.

My iPhone is doing the same thing after the 3.0 update. Vodafone texts are coming through fine as normal numbers, but telecom numbers in my contacts come up as either the name, or that contact's number as a +64 number, with no discernible pattern to it all.

Any suggestions?
