Hey, just gathering more information as my partner and I are inching closer to "want to get" iPhone 3GS each... we have one computer with just one login/account (Windows 7) and single iTunes account.

I have MS Exchange at home, so as far as the contact/calendar goes, I'm planning to sync both iPhones to Exchange directly to our own account. However, as for the music etc, my understanding is that, they will be syncing with iTunes. If iPhone behaves like iPod Touch, I presume you can have multiple devices syncing to same iTunes?

Is this so?

Cannot confirm on the single computer, but my wife and I both use the one iTunes account. However we sync to our own Macbook/Pro

yep, the iphone acts like any ipod, you can sync more than one device to the same itunes account, I am currently doing it with an ipod touch and iphone 3g
