Hi, so i have an iphone and want to put mp3's that i have on my computer(windows) on it, and i want to be able to play them. Anyone know how to do this.
I've tried through itunes but it doesnt seem to work, probably because i didnt download from the itunes store. I've found lots of stuff on the net telling me how to get mp3's off the iphone onto my pc, but not the other way around.

Thanks.

drag mp3 files onto word "library" in the left-hand sidebar of iTunes.

it should start copying them to your iTunes library.

iTunes will happily accept MP3 and MP4 audio files as well as ripping them for you from a CD.

Yup, or just go 'file -> add folder' and point at where your mp3's are.

Yes, you add the mp3's to iTunes, then plug-in your iPhone and configure the Music sync'ing options. This allows you to sync the music in iTunes with your iPhone.
