Yes in App store its available at a mere $120 without any hardware that was mentioned in WWDC a month or so ago.
It has IQ Routes and POI's and Speed cameras info.
This is compared with Sygic Maps which combines Australia & NZ but for only $84

Tough choice. I have been using Sygic's and find it very good. Will give TomTom a go eventually.

I already have a TomTom. Wonder if it's worth flicking the device and getting this instead.

I am interested in getting this App (Although does seem quite expensive) but how do you attach this to your car? i have looked at one of the car mounts on Trademe and dealextreme but just don't know if they are really that strong...don't want it falling down while im driving and breaking as i don't use a case for my iphone (think it detracts from the look of the phone :))

I bought the DLO Vent Mount from Magnum mac for $39.95. It swivels and seems quite sturdy.
The proper TomTom hardware is not yet available it seems.
I had to remove my Incipio Feather case to mount it in the holder.
But honestly is looks quite a firm fit and clicks into place.

DLO Vent Mount? Sounds interesting... I have a generic in my car that broke the clicking clip, so now I use elastic bands to hold it in place until I find a nice mount that suits me. Will look into that one.

A review of this was recently done in the Iphonewzealand.co.nz web site

They don't seem to have it online. Tried already. If you're looking for info on it: http://www.iphonewzealand.co.nz/2009/all/review-dlo-vent-mount/

Do you get charged for data used?

Of course, unless you're on a data plan.

Darn. I thought it worked like the standalone units you purchase...theres no data charges with those right?

I am pretty sure no data is used as the maps are already on the phone
