Just wondering if anyone has been through this process yet? I've found two or three different notes on this..and redsnow 7 crashed my itunes, thinking I need version 8 plus both ispw files right?

Anyone just a sucessfull method on windows?

install 3.0.1 to iPhone via itunes as normal.

run redsn0w 0.8 and choose the 3.0 ipsw file and thats it.

Have done it many times..

Sometimes it gets stuck in "Waiting for reboot". It does for me with my 1st gen phone.

When that happens, unplug and replug the USB cable.

I had they same issue on with my 3G, I was finally able to Jailbreak it only after I downloaded another 3.0 ipsw that worked as it was crashing Redsnow at the reboot stage.
