Well, 1 year and 2 months on, my iphone is looking fairly good. Upon closer inspection, the back is cracking, aswell as having massive scrapes caused by the griffin iclarifi case, and the chrome bezel is fairly hory looking.

I think I might buy one of these and slap on the back, the sim tray and the bezel.

Anyone had any experience with these particular kits? They are obviously not OEM parts at $75, but Im wondering what the quality of the material is like. I might also replace my battery while ive got it opened up (depending on price of batteries)

Ahh nvm, i think ill flag the whole idea. Just saw the instructions for pulling the phone to pieces. I mean, im good with little electronics, but this just seems like waayyyy too much of a mission to be bothered with.

Not to mention, the serial number is on the original case as well with all the other crap and what not. I dont know whether keeping the serial number is important, but still.
But John is right, those parts are nasty.
