Windows 7 recognizes my Ipod Touch as a camera.  It's 2nd generation and it is NOT jail broken. Nothing unusual has been done to it.I have itunes 9 loaded on it. I have even deleted and reinstaled the itunes software. I also went into services and applications, turned off the ipod service and restarted it...
I cannot sync the ipod as itunes does not see it at all...
Can someone please help me and provide me step by step instructions on this problem.
I would appreciate all help.
Thank you and Happy New Year!

Are you running iTunesHelper.exe on startup?
