Gidday all,

I use a device called a Slingbox in my work, which is a cool hardware-based video streamer.

This has an app to view it from iphone, but I guess because the device has never been sold in NZ, the app isn't in our store... it is in the UK and US, plus various others.

Is there anything I can do to get it? Its not a cheap app, and it seems ridiculous they won't take my money!

Thanks!

Tony

The only way I've managed to get around this is to buy an iTunes gift certificate when I travel to other countries. It's not legal to use it back in NZ, according to Apple, but it works. Rather than travel overseas, you might know people who could but and send you a certificate. You'll also need an overseas address to register the certificate. As I've lived overseas for extended periods, I was able to provide one.
