Hi,

Does anyone have an Iphone 3Gs on Vodafone in New Plymouth/Taranaki?

What has your experience been with it? i.e. Reception etc.??

I need to check if my house has 3g reception.... and the Vodafone map does not really show me...

Basically I have an Nokia N97,  I get 3 to 4 bars out of about 7 of 3G coverage in my house, I need to check if that will be the same on the iphone...

Anyone want to help?

Thanks....

You will likely get better 3G on your Nokia than an Iphone 3GS, the N97 is 2100/900 which is what Vodafone's network is, while th e iPhone is 2100/850, so you would likely loose 3G once you got out of central NP, as it is 2100 in town but 900 around the 'naki
