and all that comes up is the following

we could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-50)
There was an error in the itunes store. please try again later


i have uninstalled itunes several times, restored my lappy to a earlier time, tried to find anything about this error.

I run on windows 7 laptop

I've been having problems the last several hours trying to access iTunes on my 3GS over 3G and Wi-Fi. It'll work then it won't work and so on, I keep getting the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message, so it could be an iTunes issue.

Hi stupid part is I can access apps store from my iphone, but still getting the message:

we could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-50)
There was an error in the itunes store. please try again later

this has been for the last few days.
I am wondering if this has anything to do with the itunes and windows 7.

My partner can access apps store from pc running windows xp and iphone
I just keep getting this error from my laptop running windows 7

any help appreciated
