Hi All,

I am currently looking to buy an iPod/iPhone dock with AM/FM radio and rechargeable battery . Havent seen much models floating around with that specification.

Have anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks

Your main problem is that two of those features counteract each other in most models..

Finding a dock with an AM/FM radio is possible, finding one with a rechargable battery so you don't need mains power is also possible...

But the two together are very hard to mix.

If you don't need it to be portable this one is highly awesome, I have it myself even: http://www.dse.co.nz/dse.shop/4bb6ebcd02c83b66273fc0a87f3b0715/Product/View/C9969

If you don't need the AM/FM radio then some of the Altec Lansing ones are pretty good.

I was almost going to buy that model you have listed, but then thought i should explore more for options :)

I also saw an Altec Lansing dock matching my specifications, but I am not sure how good it is.

I've got one of these - Sony ICFC1IP. It has been excellent. As noted though, you might find it tough to get one with both features.

This is the exact one I linked too!! You can get these on special from time to time. I managed to score it a $96 over christmas. The sound quality is by far the best around the price to my ears... I work at dse so I try out pretty much all of them as they come in. But yeah always try, everyone hears things differently.

I had that AV Labs one, it broke on me which was a perfect excuse to get rid of it, you really do get what you pay for.
