And now can not get into the itunes store,
searched online for solutions but no help.

has anyone else struck this, as its now happened on two of our pc, windows xp and windows 7

one option is to restore my router

I said no to the update...just wasn't sure what the update was for and iTunes is working for me so saw no need to update at this point.

I updated on W7 x64 HP without a problem.

I suggest you just do a reinstall. Not sure what restoring your router would do?

 We have 4 pc/laptops in our house, two have this problem, 1 working with the new update and one has the old software for itunes.

googled and found more people with this problem.

seems they are also having issues with the new itunes update.
I have uninstalled and installed previous software and its working perfectly
nice way to spend a few hours lol
