After taking a look at some trade mark data on the IPONZ website, happened to notice the iPad trademark was registered way before Apple, and it's "Slate Computing" cover-up, by a guy who makes bach's in New Zealand.

Presumably, they'll either have to license the name or buy it off of him to allow a release in New Zealand??
